The Door Is Finally Open — Come On In
Some doors in life stay stuck for a while.
Some take longer to open than we hoped.
And some — like the one behind me in this photo — finally swing open at just the right moment.

Today, that door is open.
My website is officially live, and I’m stepping into this new chapter with a full heart.
And I’d love for you to step through it with me.
A Door That Closed… and the One That Opened Because of It
When my daughter, Charity Joy Hessick, passed away, it felt like a door had been sealed shut forever. Art was her joy, her imagination, her way of seeing the world. Losing her felt like losing color.
But have you ever had a moment where something painful pushed you toward something meaningful?
Where a door you never wanted to close forced you to look for another way forward?
That’s exactly what happened to me.
I realized I couldn’t let Charity’s creativity fade.
So I opened a new door — one that allowed her art to live on.
What’s Inside This New Door
I began placing Charity’s artwork on meaningful products — hoodies, mugs, journals, home décor, and more. Each piece carries her touch, her colors, her spark.
Have you ever held something that felt like a memory you could touch?
That’s what these products became for me.
And then something beautiful grew from that first step:
My shop now features artwork from three generations — my grandson, my God‑daughter, myself, and Charity — along with occasional pieces from other artists and authors I invite to collaborate.
When another artist’s work is featured, they receive the profits.
When Charity’s artwork is featured, those profits support emotional‑healing organizations like the upcoming New Life Recovery Center in South Bend, Indiana, and help provide fire alarms for homes in need.
It’s art with purpose.
Creativity with heart.
A legacy that keeps opening new doors.
The Website Door Is Open — Come Explore
The updated site is now live, and you can walk right in.
No waiting. No “coming soon.” No stuck hinges.
What kind of products catch your eye first — cozy hoodies, meaningful mugs, journals, home décor?
Is there a certain type of artwork that speaks to you more than others?
Would you like to see more items featuring Charity’s art, or more pieces from other artists?
Your feedback helps shape what I create next.

Do you want to see more books.
To celebrate the launch, every product featuring Charity’s artwork is $2 off this week.
What Does an Open Door Mean to You?
I’d love to hear your thoughts — truly.
Have you ever had a door close in your life that led you somewhere unexpected?
What helped you step through the next door?
Do you have a creative outlet that helped you heal or grow?
When you look at the door behind me in the photo, what does it symbolize for you?
Your stories matter.
Your reflections matter.
And your voice helps others feel seen.
